SUMMARY:Carrollton Public Comment - Flock/ALPRs
DESCRIPTION:For the last few months\, Carrollton residents and neighbors have requested public comment on Flock/ALPRs. As of last week\, Carrollton City Council decided to move forward by placing a 3-year extension/expansion on the consent agenda\, completely bypassing the request of the people. This is a perfect opportunity for Libertarians to help support their local community. If you’ve ever passed through Carrollton\, stopped to shop\, or have friends or neighbors in Carrollton\, this is an opportunity to protect liberty! \nThe linked documents below will help explain the Constitutional concerns as well as provide a toolkit to help you with your public testimony. Make sure you arrive early to fill out a speaker card or notify us so we can put one on file for you! \nLink: ALPR 4A one-pager\nLink: Carrollton Testimony Toolkit \nNo matter if this is your first time or 50th time standing up in front of a council\, we would love to see you join us. We will have surrounding affiliates in attendance along with local activists.
